Saturday Morning Breakfast, Sloshed

The magtataho shouted “Tahoooo!” so B cried out back to him with “Taho!”. B rushed to the door. “Dalawang taho,” she said as she handed him 20 pesos. This is our Saturday morning late breakfast:

Mr. Chips, a glass of Coke with lots of ice and a 10-peso taho. As soon as I took that picture, the taho went to waste. The plastic container was too soft, dammit.

Cleaning up a sloshed taho on the floor is not easy. The crevice proved to be a challenge. I used some water to wipe the mess but it didn’t help to remove the vomit smell.

Earlier, as soon as I woke up, I turned the TV on. A lazy Saturday morning will make you watch anything that is on TV especially if you don’t have cable. GMA 7′s The Last Prince was just starting. B and I were trapped into watching it. It’s about this prince whose parents, the King and Queen of a certain kingdom, was turned into stone by an evil somebody. The Prince killed evil somebody which made evil somebody’s daughter angry. Evil somebody’s daughter cursed the Prince and his companions. The Prince’s curse is that his face will turn grotesque whenever he steps out of his house. One of his companions turns into a dog. They whined about their fate. The Prince said to the dog-turning companion:

“Eh buti ka pa nagiging aso lang, ako pangit!”
(English translation: “At least you just turn into a dog. Me, I become ugly!”

Yes he would rather be down on all fours than be ugly but still a human being being. Any takers for the Prince Charming? No? Okay. I understand.
