Manny Pacquiao from Jimmy Kimmel Live! to Time Magazine Cover

manny-pacquiaoManny Pacquiao seriously needs to win against Miguel Cotto on November 14. The pressure is on! He was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! yesterday, a late-night talk show in the US and then today, he’s reportedly gracing the cover of Time Magazine.

According to the philstar.com, “This also makes Pacquiao the second Filipino to grace Time’s cover after former President and democracy icon Corazon Aquino, who was named the magazine’s ‘Woman of the Year’ in 1986.”

I searched about that part saying that Manny Pacquiao is the second Filipino who have made it on the cover of Time magazine. Everybody knows about Cory Aquino. I also remember Donita Rose made it on the cover too although the story was all about Singapore.

Pacquiao Time Magazine Cover

According to some reports over the ‘net, “Manuel L. Quezon was the first Filipino to appear on the cover of Time Magazine, published on November 25, 1935.” So I checked from the most reliable source, Time.com itself. Then I found this:
